A local grocery store chain held a "Touchdown Dance" contest two weeks before Super Bowl XXXVIII.  The winner of the local competition would win a trip to Houston, Texas.  There they would have an opportunity to compete again, this time at the NFL Experience against other regional winners for a pair of tickets to the Super Bowl.  I figured why not give it a try.

My wife and I got all decked out for our performance.

First, we got the crowd pumped up.  Then, I ran for the end-zone while my wife cheered me on.

My wife signaled TD and we started our celebration dance with High Fives!

Our touchdown dance continued successfully and ended with lots of applause and cheers from the crowd. The judge even walked over after a few minutes and told us we were in the lead.  Several others competed, but we held our ground and maintained our lead.

Then, a HOT looking girl (my wife says average looking)  performed and guess what?  She did a mean split that put her in the lead and she won the contest.  I have to admit she was better looking than me and had lots more talent.  Oh well, we tried.
